You cannot chase two rabbits at the same time.

victoriandongmele.blogspot.com.
Most people are driven by the goals they want to achieve in life. Most of them also set the overall objectives that lead to their specific goals. At this particular point, they make use of the various skills and opportunities that come their way.

In that same category you find people who pursue different task at time, while others prefer to work progressively following one task or one objective at once. The reality that refers to these two categories of people, is that they both face challenges that are also different and therefore also affect them in a different way.

Although there are people granted with a multitask skill, we generally admit that the safest approach to use is to do one thing at a time to avoid irrepearable damages.

Making decision skill.

A decision is a choice between two or more alternative. It is one of the defining characteristics of leadership.Making decisions is what managers and leaders are paid to do. Everything starts with a decision making. Life itself is about making decisions.

The reality seems to be that most organizations are not overrun by good decision makers, yet alone great ones. When asked, people do not easily point to what they regard as great decisions. Stories of bad decisions and bad decision-making come much more readily to mind.

Some of that is due to our tendency to notice and recall exceptions against all the times things go as planned. For example, you have walked along side buildings more times than you could possibly count. Yet you remember vividly the one time you got nailed by a pigeon overhead.

That is how we are about bad decisions. We are also that way because the really bad ones tend to really hurt.

But the fact that we are hard-wired to make decisions does not by itself make us good decision-makers. That takes discipline: discipline to do at least four things all the time and well.

1. Realize when and why a decision is needed

2. Declare the decision: decide what the decision is, how will it be implemented, and who should be involved.

3. Work the decision: generate a complete set of alternatives, gather the necessary information to understand the possibilities and probabilities, and ultimately make a choice that best fits our values.

4. Commit resources and act.

“Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when you only have one idea” (Alain).

luciatvrz.blogspot.com
People do get excited once they have an idea.Just like we do switch a light in a dark place, an idea get swithed on in our head and we get so excited about that single idea. We get along with that idea and are so pressed to implement it without always measuring its effects.

Although many, can admit that bad decision make great stories, adopting a more responsible attitude towards which type of ideas we must implement will spare us from a lot of damages. That is to say that, we must carefully weight the impact of our ideas before realizing them, and furthermore think of back up plan in case things did not successfully work out .

Above an idea

saferbychoice.com
They generally say that everything starts with an idea. Even from a christian perspective, God thought of creating men, also was an idea. But the most important thing to remember in this whole ideas processing, is that we do not live in a world of ideas.
Indeed we live in material word. A world that can be touched or experienced.Ideas need to be implemented accordingly. They must be put in action to find their real meaning. It would not have been possible to get to understand the real sense of an object such as a chair, if it was not reproduced physically so it can be called a chair.

Many people have ideas, and yet do not necessarily have plans for their realization. The world in which live is a cosmos where everything that flows is interlinked. Yet one may possess a great idea, that the entire creation is waiting on.

From a simple idea, one can bring about revolutionary changes. Therefore it is a good thing to have ideas, but it is a better thing to realise those good ideas, as the whole creation is waiting on their manifestation…

have you figured out second head fake

                wunderground.com
Almost all the very important things we learn in life, we learn them indirectly. It is commonly argued that the best way to head fake someone in education, is to have them learn something while they think they are learning something else.

The true is that without necessarily being aware of what comes near our nose, we do get an opportunity to learn something new. This is the reason why throughout the journey of life, we do experience a lot of head fake and only the smartest people manage to get the best out of it!

I see the glory of God...

friendschoices.com

The glory of God is the beauty of His spirit.  It is the beauty that emanates from His character, from all that He is.

James 1:10 calls on a rich man to “glory in his humiliation,” indicating a glory that does not mean riches or power or material beauty. This glory can crown man or fill the earth. It is seen within man and in the earth, but it is not of them; it is of God.

The glory of man is the beauty of man’s spirit, which is fallible and eventually passes away, and is therefore humiliating as the verse tells us....

But the glory of God, which is manifested in all His attributes together, never passes away. It is eternal…

Between the lines... did you know!?

Meaning

Discern a meaning which isn't made obvious or explicit.

Origin

This expression derives from a simple form of cryptography, in which a hidden meaning was conveyed by secreting it between lines of text. It originated in the mid 19th century and soon became used to refer to the deciphering of any coded or unclear form of communication, whether written or not; for example, one might say "She said she was happy to go to the party but didn't seem concerned when it was cancelled. Reading between the lines, I don't think she wanted to go in the first place".

Fame is linked with so many aspirations that go from acquiring material wealth, to getting attention from the crowd and so many more other advantages.  The reality is that those who aspire to be famous do not always see it as an opportunity to bring about a concrete and positive change in their society.
If we have to look closely at the fame vibe, we can soon realize that those who wish to be fame are not driven by pure and uninterested desires, but rather personal greed that brings back a personal satisfaction.
On the other hand we find the other type of famous people. The one who become fame through their natural and inherent talent. The one whose personality is lead towards achieving the goals that benefit the community and the world at large. The type of people that pursue a positive change that undeniably nurture the society.
Matthew23:11-12
“But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” (KJV)

What is freedom...?

stkarnick.com

What is freedom? How is freedom related to liberty? Liberty conveys the idea of the right or the ability of an individual to freely express his will. Freedom on the other hand is a word which contains inbuilt restrictions. “My freedom to swing my hands stops at my neighbour's nose”. A free society contains individuals who are free to do what they do, whilst respecting the freedoms of others. Freedom is the liberty of the individual coupled with concern by the liberated individual for the liberties of others.
Freedom cannot be defined, except through an analysis of the restrictions on human action.
Therefore, the area of freedom available to the individual in any society is a residuary one. The individual is at liberty to do what law and social custom do not forbid. Therefore, the content of the restrictions on liberty are important. What distinguishes a free society from other societies is the nature and extent of the legal and customary restrictions on freedom.
Freedom can be defined only in terms of the restrictions on freedom - and I show some of the legal restrictions on freedom which historically evolved and were responsible for the rise of western civilisation are analysed in this paper.
